Seek Beauty

The "Coming" season is a season of beauty.  The lights go up, the garland is draped, the poinsettias come on the market, the tree is displayed, candles are lit and the wreath finds it's rightful spot on front doors of thousands of homes.  

We were created as beautiful, artful beings and we were created to enjoy beauty.  Christmas decorations are not the epitome of beauty in my eyes although I do love them, however I believe we decorate this time of year to bring beauty and symbolism into our celebration.   Decorations enrich our experience of The "Coming."  

Beauty is essential to creativity.  It feeds the soul.   

Set aside a few minutes today to cast your gaze upon something you consider to be beautiful.   This would include casting your thoughts, prayers or meditations on something beautiful to your spirit.

I call these exercises "food for the soul."  We are SoulFull beings and our souls long to be noticed and nourished.
